A foreign individual or foreign company can generally own 100% of a Turkish capital company without a Turkish shareholder solely because of nationality, but regulated or strategic sectors can impose special ownership, capital, licence or approval rules."},{"Soru":"Does national treatment mean a foreign shareholder needs no extra documents?","Cevap":"No. Equal investment rights do not remove the need to prove a foreign legal entity's existence, authority and corporate approval. Foreign corporate shareholders can require current-status records, constitutional documents, resolutions, apostille or consular legalisation, Turkish translation and powers of attorney depending on the case."},{"Soru":"Can profits and dividends from a Turkish investment be transferred abroad?","Cevap":"The FDI framework generally allows transfer abroad of net profits, dividends and certain investment proceeds through banks or financial institutions, but tax treatment, withholding, KYC and AML, sanctions, accounting evidence and payment-purpose documentation still apply."},{"Soru":"Does foreign-investor status automatically provide tax incentives, residence or a work permit?","Cevap":"No. Incentives depend on the specific programme, activity, project, location and conditions. Residence and work authorisation are also separate from company ownership or FDI status and must be assessed under their own rules."},{"Soru":"What should a foreign investor check before entering Turkey?","Cevap":"Check sector restrictions, legal form and capital, subsidiary versus branch or acquisition, foreign-document requirements, tax and treaty issues, banking and KYC, foreign personnel, premises and licences, and only the incentive programmes that actually fit the investment. Also assign ownership for the recurring FDI reporting that applies after entry, including the annual E-TUYS EK-1 activity filing by the end of May for covered companies and branches and the separate annual EK-4 route for liaison offices."}],"Ayarlar":{"mikridata_aktif":true}},"_yoast_wpseo_title":"","_yoast_wpseo_metadesc":"","_yoast_wpseo_focuskw":"","rank_math_title":"Foreign Investment in Turkey: FDI Law & Investor Rights 2026","rank_math_description":"Understand Turkey\u2019s FDI Law, national treatment, 100% foreign ownership, profit transfers, sector exceptions and what foreign-investor rights do not guarantee.","rank_math_focus_keyword":"foreign investment in Turkey"},"categories":[2],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-2780","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-blog"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/workon.com.tr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/2780","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/workon.com.tr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/workon.com.tr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/workon.com.tr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/workon.com.tr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=2780"}],"version-history":[{"count":5,"href":"https:\/\/workon.com.tr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/2780\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":6451,"href":"https:\/\/workon.com.tr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/2780\/revisions\/6451"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/workon.com.tr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/3048"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/workon.com.tr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=2780"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/workon.com.tr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=2780"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/workon.com.tr\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=2780"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
